Mahina chuckled. She grabbed a tissue from the coffee table and wiped away her blood.

Ernie looked out the window. "When do you want to leave?" He asked, figuring it was only about an hour before it got dark.

Mahina glanced at the window. ‘Now, I guess,’ she said, standing up. ‘Thanks, Uncle!’ she said to Orion.

"You're welcome!" Orion said happily. "Come back soon!"
Ernest stood up, smiling. "Bye Orion! Bye Finn!" -
‘We will,’ Mahina said with a smile, walking towards the door.

Ernie followed, waving bye.

Orion waved back.

Ernest walked down the stairs. "Your family seems nice."

‘He is,’ Mahina said, following him.

Ernie smiled. "That's good."

Mahina nodded with a smile.

Ernest extended his hand to open the door, but it swung open before he could grab it. "What the-"

Mahina chuckled and walked outside.

"What was that?" Ernie looked at Mahina with both nervousness and burning curiosity. "You didn't just have me go to an actual haunted house, did you?"

‘No,’ Mahina laughed. ‘Orion likes tricks. He enjoys scaring the simple folk,’ she said in a joking tone. She didn’t like lying to Ernest, but she didn’t want to be burnt at the stake either.
