Ernie didn't say anything else, trying to find out how someone could create a trick like that.

Mahina walked down the street.

Ernest kicked an acorn that was on the street, trying to think of something interesting to say.

‘Do you like sausages?’

Ernie chuckled at the randomness before nodding. "Yeah, I do."

‘Good,’ Mahina said with a completely straight face.

"Why?" Ernest asked, looking at Mahina with an amused expression.

‘Because I wasn’t gonna make anything else for dinner.’

"Oh, alright." Ernie smiled. "So. When'd you say your roommates going to be back?"

‘A few days,’ Mahina said with a shrug. ‘Probably the day after tomorrow.’

"Sounds good." Ernest didn't know what else to say.

Mahina shrugged.

Ernie looked up at the sky. It was just beginning to set, and looked very pretty.
