Mahina followed his gaze. She smiled.

Ernie looked at the sunset before turning his attention to something more beautiful: Mahina.

Mahina was still looking up at the sky, smiling softly. She glanced at Ernest, but didn’t point out he was staring at her. She was beginning to see something in him she’d never seen before.

Ernest looked away after a minute or two, not wanting to seem like a creepazoid. -
(LOL YES)
Mahina blushed, continuing to look at him. She looked away after a few moments, fiddling with her hands. -
Ernie stole glances at her every once in a while. He almost chuckled at how nervous she seemed, but didn't.

Mahina couldn’t stop thinking about him. She found herself blushing, and quickly tried to make it go away, but only made her cheeks more red.

Ernest looked over at her again, and this time didn't stop himself from chuckling at how she was bright red.

Mahina glanced at him. ‘What’s so funny?’ she asked.

"Nothing." Ernie said quickly, looking away.

Mahina continued staring at him for a moment, before walking slightly closer to him and looking away.

Ernest looked back at her, noticing she walked just a bit closer to him. He didn't move away.

Mahina looked down at her shoes.

"You seem nervous." Ernie pointed out. "What's wrong?"

‘Nothin’,’ Mahina responded, kicking a pebble. ‘Nothing’s wrong.’
