Ernest shrugged- which he regretted since the space was so cramped. "I suppose a little."

Mahina frowned. 'Like, in a bad way?'

Ernie shook his head. "No!" He whispered. "Not at all. You're amazingly weird."

Mahina leaned against him. 'Mmkay.'

Ernest blushed, smiling.

Mahina smiled weakly.

"Why would you even think you're bad weird?" Ernie asked quietly. "Because you're not."

'Well, I've just been told I was a such a weird kid my parents couldn't handle me, so it's not crazy to assume.'

"Then your parents missed out." Ernest frowned. "Because you're amazingly weird."

Mahina shrugged, cuddling closer to Ernest. 'Maybe not.'

"Hey." Ernie kissed her cheek. "You are."

Mahina blushed, but didn't reply.

Ernest gave a gentle smile, wanting to help her feel better.
