Ernie smiled.

Mahina smiled. There was the sound of Selene walking in.

Ernest's eyes opened, and his smile faded. He tried to muffle his breathing so it didn't tip Selene off that he was there.

Mahina clamped her hand over Ernest's and her own mouth.

"Mahina?" Selene asked. "I swear you walked in here..."

Mahina tried to make herself smaller.

Selene walked around the room a bit, confused. Ernie was trying HARD not to move a muscle or make a sound.

Eventually, Selene glanced at the window. She sighed and left the room.

Ernie made sure she was gone, and exhaled. "Thank god." He said, voice barely even a whisper.

Mahina exhaled the breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. 'We need to go,' she murmured.

"Where?" Ernest asked quietly.
(Dammit, gtg, I'll be back in hopefully less than an hour!) -
(alr, cya!)
'I don't know.' Reluctantly, Mahina crawled out of his arms and stood up. 'The window?' -
"Alright." Ernest got out from under the bed.

Mahina opened the window.

Ernie climbed out of it after a bit of squeezing.
