Eleanor gave an awkward shrug. She hadn't actually known what she was going to say and now felt very awkward.

Hunter nodded. 'Right.'

"Right" Eleanor repeated her checks blushing pink with embarrassment.

Hunter thought for a moment. 'It's nice in here,' he said, which was a dumb statement. 'Much... warmer than outside. And, er, I like your choice of decor.' He looked around. There were posters of people and things he didn't know or understand. There were strange objects too, things he'd never seen or knew how to work. It felt a little overwhelming to him, how much the world had developed, but he kept himself composed and looked back at Eleanor.

"You do-, you do have a home don't you?" She asked slightly concerned. By the way he was acting it sounded like he didn't even have a fireplace to keep his home warm.

'Of course,' Hunter said. He wasn't sure if an old man's basement counted, but he didn't want to draw more suspicion than he already had.

"Good" Eleanor sighed with relief. She put her ear to the door, making sure her father wasn't anywhere near. "What did you want to do?" She asked knowing he must of come here for a reason and she wanted to find out what.

Hunter thought about that for a moment. 'You know, I should probably leave,' he said, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. 'I wouldn't want to cause you any more trouble.' He walked towards the window.

"Your causing no trouble at all" she insisted.

Hunter glanced back at Eleanor, stopping in his tracks. 'Oh, okay,' he said, seeming to consider that.

Eleanor sat down on her bed. "Where do you live?" She asked assuming he was a new neighbour as she hadn't seen him around school before.

‘In an old house, a few streets from here,’ Hunter responded.

Eleanor was a curious person and couldn't help asking more questions. "Do you have any siblings?"

Hunter shook his head. ‘No. No siblings,’ he responded. He wondered why all the questions, but didn’t ask.

"And your parents, where do they work?" She asked wondering if her father would know them.
