Chester smiled softly, holding him close. ‘Do you believe me?’ he asked softly.

Jayden nodded. "I do." He answered quietly.
(I'm gonna go for the night, bye!) -
(Gn!)
Chester nuzzled into the crook into his neck. ‘Do you think you can forgive me?’ -
"Yeah." Jayden nodded again. "I mean, you tried to pull away, right?"

Chester nodded, holding Jayden’s head in his hands.

Jayden snuggled into him. "Ok."

Chester smiled, kissing his forehead.

Jayd blushed, smiling. He didn't say anything for a bit before speaking up. "Hey, Chester?"

‘Yes, love?’ Chester said softly, raking his fingers through his hair.

"What... What did you hear from the meeting? Before Beatrice...." He didn't finish his sentence.

Chester rubbed his nose against Jayden’s, thinking about his response. ‘Well, I heard Caden pointing out where you were going to take my land. He sounded smug about it. And then you said something along the lines of ‘alright then’ and that’s when Beatrice came up behind me,’ he said. ‘Is Caden taking the land we hoped he would?’

Jayden nodded. He was relieved that he didn't overhear the whole potentially causing a war if the two of them caused trouble. "Yeah, he is." He mumbled, head on Chester's shoulder.

Chester let out a sigh of relief and played with Jayden’s hair. ‘That’s good,’ he murmured. ‘Were you two talking about something I shouldn’t know about?’

Jayden shrugged. "I guess." He mumbled before immediately regretting saying it.

Chester frowned, gently taking his fingers through Jayden’s hair. ‘I’m not going to ask you what it is. But… is it something I should be worried about?’
