Jayden let him. He saw Maeve show up again.

Maeve walked inside. She smiled weakly when she saw the two. ‘Are you rabbit?’
Chester flushed in embarrassment. ‘Maybe.’ -
Jayd gave a small smile back. "Yeah, he is."

Chester buried his face in Jayden’s shirt. ‘Mnph.’

Jayd let him, holding him close.

Maeve chuckled and sat next to Chester, wrapping an arm around him. ‘I’m almost your height.’

Jayden laughed. "I love being the taller one." He mumbled.

Chester rolled his eyes, but was smiling. ‘You’re both mean,’ he mumbled

"Yup." Jayden nodded.

Chester chuckled.

Maeve pat Chester's head, chuckling.

Chester rolled his eyes, snuggling into them both.

Jayden let him, leaning into him.

Chester smiled.
