Chester snuggled into him. 'I'm so sorry.'

Jayden let him. "It's fine." He mumbled. "It's not your fault."

Chester kissed his cheek. 'I want to help.'

"There's nothing to help with." Jayden mumbled. Unless you give your land to me... He shut down the thought as soon as it arrived. He couldn't manipulate Chester like that. It was too cold, too mean, too horrible for him to do. Even if he had to do it the next day anyways...

Chester sighed, looking down. 'Are you sure?'

"Yes." Jayd said quickly, like if he said it, the thoughts of manipulating Chester to give him the land would disappear as well. They didn't.

Chester leaned into him. 'Alright. If you're sure.'

"I am." Jayden said firmly, not realizing he was clenching his fists.

Chester rested his hand on Jayden's balled fists, kissing his nose. 'I love you.'

Jayden blushed, letting him. "I love you too."

Chester smiled, rubbing his nose against Jayden's affectionately in hopes to calm him down.

Jayd blushed harder, smiling softly.

Chester held him close. 'I really love you.'

"I love you too." Jayden chuckled. He snuggled into Chester, trying to forget Caden ever walked in the room.
