Jayd sighed quietly.
Maeve watched the two of them, not saying anything, but also wanting to find her room. -
Chester glanced at Maeve, smiling. 'We should show her her room now.'

Jayden sighed. "I guess." He pulled away, standing up. "Come on, I'll show you. Chester, are you coming?"

Chester nodded, standing up. 'Of course.'

Jayd smiled, walking out of the room, Maeve following.

Chester followed behind them.

Jayden walked to a room two doors down from Chester's. He wanted to make sure she wasn't too far in case she needed anything. "Here." He opened the door. "Tell me if you need me to change anything, ok? I can find you another room if you hate it."

Maeve nodded, smiling. 'Thank you.'

"You're welcome." Jayd smiled. He checked the time. It was just about dinnertime. He looked up at Chester. "Do you want to eat dinner in the kitchen, or should I just grab you two some food and bring it back here?"

Chester shrugged. 'We can go to the kitchen.'

"Ok." Jayden paused. "You sure you can handle sitting by Astrid again? I can try moving us to a different table, but he might still come on by and try to start some fight."

Chester shook his head. 'I'll be fine. I missed lunch, anyway, so I'd rather eat sooner,' he said with a shy smile.

Jayd chuckled. "Fair enough. Dinner starts in about 5 minutes, so we should probably walk down once Maeve finishes unpacking."

Chester nodded. 'Alright.'

Jayden smiled, leaning into him slightly.
