Jayden kissed his cheek. “I’m so sorry.”

Chester buried his face in his shirt, trying not to cry. ‘What did he say?’

“Not much, just that you have to be on your best behavior or something.” Jayden held him close.

Chester whimpered. ‘O-Ok.’

Jayd kissed the top of his head. “I’m so sorry.” He said again.

Chester sighed, trying to calm down. ‘It’s not your fault. I kind of brought it on myself.’

“Hey, don’t tell yourself that.” Jayden frowned. “The only person who’s fault it is, is Astrid, ok?”

Chester nodded. ‘O-Ok,’ he mumbled.

Jayd kissed the top of his head again.

Chester sighed, practically melting in his arms. He whimpered.
(I’m gonna attempt to get a bit of sleep now lol, cya in a couple hours) -
(Ok!)
Jayden sighed. “I’ll try and get him to give you the watch back later, ok?” He figured it wouldn’t be wise to talk to Astrid at the moment. -
Chester nodded

Jayden gave a soft smile. “I love you.”

Chester forced a smile back. ‘Love you too.’

Jayd could tell it was forced. He ate his food.
