Jayden's eyes widened. "You wouldn't..." They couldn't... Right?

‘Oh, but we would,’ Caden said with an evil grin, eyes sparkling.

"I-is that all this meeting is about?" He asked quietly, trying to hide the fear in his voice. There's no way in hell he'd let them take over completely.

Caden leaned back and nodded. ‘Indeed. Think about it. We want your decision by tomorrow.’

Jayd gave a small nod before baking away and walking out of the room.

Caden watched him closely, smirking.

Jayden walked out of the room, walking down in the hall for a bit. He went to his room, and almost opened the door, but didn't want Chester to see him. Not after that meeting he just had. He sat down by his door, covering his face in his hands. What on earth was he going to do? -
(Lol)
Chester was inside, on Jayden’s bed, nibbling absentmindedly on chocolate. He hoped Jayden would come back soon. -
Jayden didn't realize there were tears in his eyes until a few minutes later. He wiped them quickly, stood up, let out a deep breath, and opened the door to the room.

Chester looked up and smiled. ‘Hey, love,’ he said, but then noticed his expression. ‘How did the meeting go?’

"Fine." Jayd mumbled, sitting down on his bed. "It went fine."

Chester frowned, sitting up. ‘What happened?’ he asked, wrapping an arm and a wing around him.

"They just..." Jayden sighed, not wanting to lie but knowing if he told Chester the truth, he'd get in MASSIVE trouble. He leaned into him slightly. "Got a bit angry. It's nothing."
