Jayden blushed, leaning into his touch.

Chester smiled. He booped his nose. ‘Your birthday’s in a week,’ he said.

Jayden nodded, glad he remembered. "Yeah."

‘What would you like to do for it? And when do you have to go back to your own kingdom?’

"I don't mind, surprise me." Jayden shrugged. "I probably can stay for two more weeks. Depends on how insistent Caden is that I get home."

‘I imagine you wouldn’t like to celebrate with your family. I suppose we could just do something in your castle though, since your ballroom is bigger and it would make more sense to have a birthday celebration for a human with humans,’ Chester rambled.
