Jayd frowned before realizing. “Oh Chester.” He mumbled, wrapping his arms around Chester in a tight hug. “You’re so beautiful, you’re polite-unless it’s my brother- you’re kind, you’re modest.” He kissed Chester’s nose. “I love you because you’re amazing, alright love?”

Chester buried his face in Jayden’s shoulder, holding him tightly. He transformed into a bunny, height not changing. ‘I don’t deserve you,’ he mumbled.

“Nonsense.” Jayden shook his head. “It’s the other way around, sweetheart.” He frowned. “You really believe that? That you don’t deserve me?”

‘Are you serious? When was the last time you took a look at yourself Jayden? I could never deserve you.’

Jayd shook his head. “Chester, I love you, but oh my god stop talking. You’re the one that deserves way better. Anyone could see that.”

‘Your own brother even thinks so, Jayden! The kingdom thinks so!’ Tears welled in Chester’s eyes as he held him tighter.

Jayden let go of Chester. “Calm down.” He said gently, placing his hands on Chester’s shoulder gently- god, the perks of being taller than him- and locked eye contact with him. “My brother only said that to get to you, and besides, who cares what they all think? I love you, and that’s all that matters. I don’t care what a bunch of people who read the newspaper articles about us think.”

Chester buried his head in Jayden’s chest, avoiding his gaze. ‘I care, Jayden. I lied to you, multiple times. I kept horrible secrets from you.’

Jayden sat Chester down before sitting down himself. “Chester. Calm. Down.” He said softly. “You’re panicking. It’s ok, I promise.” He grabbed Chester’s hands and played with them to try and distract his boyfriend’s mind.

Chester took down at his hands, which were sweating now. It wasn’t that warm in the castle. ‘Wh-What makes it ok?’

“The fact that I forgive you, ok? Now please, relax.” He looked at Chester’s hands as well. “What will help you calm down?”

‘I-I don’t know,’ Chester murmured, tears running down his face.

Jayden frowned, wiping Chester’s tears off with his thumb. Chocolate. Chocolate makes everything better.
“Is it ok if I run off to grab you some snacks? Maybe you just need food…” -
Chester just stared at his hands. ‘Sure,’ he mumbled.

Jayd sighed. “Do you want to come with me, or do you need to be alone for a bit?”
