Chester’s whole body shook, the only thing he could hear was Astrid’s horrible voice, taunting him. ‘St-Stop it…’ he sobbed, almost seeming to shrink at Astrid’s words.

Jayden noticed Chester’s reaction before turning to Astrid, nothing but infuriation showing in his face. “If you say another word to him, you better hope karma smacks you before I do.” He muttered. “Now, for the millionth time, get out of my goddamn room.”

Astrid just smirked, seeming to thoroughly enjoy the torment he was putting Chester through. ‘What if I don’t want to? I might want to stay here with you and cottontail…’

“I don’t know what you want, but leave Chester out of it.” Jayden snapped. “Now get out of here before I have you escorted out by the guards.”

Astrid chuckled, voice laced with amusement. ‘What makes you think they’ll listen to you, if not me?’ He looked at Chester. ‘What a crybaby. Where’s your mummy and daddy, cottontail? They’ll rock a poor baby like you.’

Now, Jayden knew he was very, very stupid for this, and that Astrid would certainly have his revenge, but he didn’t care. He punched him right in his stupid little nose. “Don’t you dare talk to my boyfriend like that.”

Astrid’s expression changed from smug to sheer shock. Then anger. ‘You little-‘ He growled, hand flying to his nose. His fingers came back bloody, and dripped onto his suit. ‘How dare you?!’

“I told you to get out before I smacked you…” Jayden glared. “Don’t make me ask you to get out of my room again.”

‘Or what, you’ll punch me again?’ Astrid said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. ‘Get over yourself. You couldn’t do s--- to me than a bloody nose.’

Jayden kicked him in the ribs before calling out for Neo.

Astrid doubled over, groaning. ‘F-f---.. I’ll get you for that, you little-‘
Neo ran in and took a second to survey the situation. ‘Your majesty.’ -
“Escort Astrid out, please.” Jayden gave a defiant smile to Astrid.

Astrid managed to stand up straight, leaning against the wall. Neo nodded and stood behind Astrid, grabbing his arms and shoving him towards the door.
‘Ugh, you’ll regret this, Jayden!’ Astrid shouted, barely able to resist. He looked at Chester, who was still curled up and rocking, and smirked before he was shoved out. -
Jayd rolled his eyes before walking over to Chester. “I’m so sorry.” He whispered, wrapping him in a hug.

Chester whimpered, leaning into his touch. He didn’t respond.
