Jayden didn't answer, looking down.

Chester touched his cheek. ‘Jayden?’ he said, in a voice barely above a whisper.

"Mhm?" Jayd mumbled, still not answering.

‘Please tell me.’

Jayden sighed. "It's happened before." He said vaguely, not wanting to answer, but also hating the idea of keeping secrets from Chester.

Chester sat up so he could look him in the eye. ‘To who? How many times?’

Jayd didn't answer, leaning into Chester more.

Chester held him close. ‘Jayden, please,’ he whispered, ‘This is serious. Did he do it to you?’

Jayden didn't answer for a moment before giving a small, "Yeah." so quiet he thought - partially hoped- that Chester wouldn't hear.

Chester let out a sharp exhale, pulling Jayden closer. His bunny ears disappeared, replaced by bright red hair and phoenix wings. He grew several inches taller, back to his normal height.
‘How many times?’ he murmured. -
Jayden noticed, and gave a weak smile before it quickly faded. "I... I don't know..."

‘What do you mean, “I don’t know”?’

I lost count...
"I mean that I don't know, ok?" -
Chester stared at him. ‘Tell me, please.’

"I lost count." Jayden mumbled, staring at the floor.
