Astrid was sitting next to his desk, writing something on a sheet of paper. He smirked when he saw Chester. "Hey, the hair's back!"

Chester stalked towards him. ‘You’re a f---ing joke, you know that?’

Jayden walked in to see what was happening and to make sure Chester was ok.
Astrid just looked amused. "Hey, Cottontail learned how to talk without s-stuttering!" He had a teasing smile. -
Chester growled. He grabbed Astrid’s throat. ‘It’s one thing when you taunt me like that, you disgusting b----, and it’s another when you taunt your own brother like that. If we were in my kingdom, you’d be in prison for the rest of your puny little life.’

Jayden grabbed Chester's shoulder. "Let go of him." He said quietly.
Astrid's face quickly changed from amused, to shocked, and maybe even... Fearful? -
Chester didn’t let go. He didn’t respond to Jayden, just stared into Astrid’s eyes.
‘That’s right, you pathetic little boy. Cottontail can speak fluently. Next time he’ll do a lot more than this.’ -
Astrid tried to squirm out of Chester's grip. Jayd just glared.
(Dammit, gtg, dunno when I'll be back) -
(Alg, I need to go anyway lol)
Chester bared his teeth before finally letting him go, wings folding against his back. -
“You-you-“
“Who’s stuttering now?” Jayden muttered, loud enough that they both could hear him. He couldn’t resist. -
Chester smirked. ‘Think about this next time you try something funny,’ he said dangerously, taking a step back.

Astrid glared, looking like he had some choice words to throw in Chester’s face, but also looking like he didn’t want to be grabbed by the throat again.

Chester grabbed Jayden’s hand and started walking away.

Jayd gave a small smirk to Astrid before following him.

Chester shut the door behind them as they left Astrid’s room. ‘Tell me if he messes with you again.’

Jayd gave a small smile, nodding. He was silent for a bit. “You know you didn’t have to get so defensive over it, right?” He looked up at him. He wasn’t mad about it, he just…. Didn’t like the idea of Chester creating such a fuss over him like that again.
