Jayden grabbed the food he got. “I brought you some chocolate.” He mumbled.

Chester didn’t respond, hugging him tightly. ‘Did you just punch your brother?’

Jayd nodded. “Yeah.” He hugged him back, kissing the top of his head at least a dozen times.

Chester smiled softly, pulling himself close. ‘You’re a badass.’

Jayden shrugged. “He was being cruel.” He responded. “Are you ok?”

“I’m fine, no worrying about me.” Jayd held his boyfriend close. “Are you sure you’re ok? Astrid was being a jackass.”

Chester leaned against him. It was the one thing he liked about being shorter, being able to lean against or nuzzle Jayden. He sighed, trying not to recall how he’d felt when Astrid was taunting him.
Was he going crazy after all?
‘I’m fine.’ -
Jayden wrapped an arm around him. “Ok. Do you want to talk about your mental breakdown, or are you going to pretend it’s fine, too?”

‘Can we pretend it’s fine, please?’

Jayd frowned. “Of course, but I want to talk about it at some point.”

Chester sighed, pulling himself closer to him. ‘Alright. Just… just not now.’

Jayden nodded. “Of course.” He paused. “I’m sorry Astrid was such an a--hole to you.”
