Chester huffed. ‘What else don’t you care what u think about?’

“Nothing. Except that you think I’m eye candy.”

‘Well, you are. Why else would everyone be so mad you’re my boyfriend?’

“Because they’re jealous that I managed to wind up with you, since you’re obviously the better looking one.”

Chester rolled his eyes. ‘They’re absolutely obsessed with you, my love,’ he said with a a playful grin.

“Doubtful.” Jayden shook his head, chuckling. “You’re the eye candy, after all.”

‘I’m not, seriously!’

Jayd shook his head again. “No lying to me.”

‘When have I ever lied to you?!’ Just saying it made him sigh.

Jayden froze up for a moment, smile disappearing for a moment- just a moment. Not long, mind you, but long enough for him to get mad at himself.

Chester buried his face in Jayden’s neck, pulling him close. ‘I’m sorry.’

“I-it’s fine.” Jayden mumbled.

Chester sighed, closing his eyes. God, I’m so dumb.

Jayd leaned into Chester more. “Hey, it’s ok.”

‘It isn’t.’
