Chester kissed his cheek. ‘I’m going to go do some work.’

‘No, I- I need some time alone,’ Chester mumbled, standing up.
(I swear to god I’m so fixated on arcane I’m about to give Chester blue hair and a cane) -
(WHAT NO)
"Okay. Bye." Jayden frowned, but let him leave. -
(WHY NOT)
Chester walked out of the room. -

Jayden let him, drumming his hands on the table and trying to think of what to do to help Chester out. -
(OMG FINE)
Chester walked to his office, swinging his pocket watch back and forth. -
Jayden buried his head in his hands. He had to try and get his brother to stop, but how?

Chester bumped into Astrid because drama.

Astrid noticed him. "Hey, cottontail."

Chester stepped back. 'I thought I told you to leave.'

"Relax, I was on my way out." Astrid rolled his eyes.

Chester put his pocket watch in his pocket and stepped away from him.

"You can stop stepping away from me like I'm going to bite your head off, scaredy cat."
