Chester woke and scuttled out from his spot, looking up at Jayden. -
(I willllll)
Jayden didn't see him because he was a mouse. He looked around, frowning before sitting down on Chester's bed. -
Chester scuttled forward and rested his head on Jayden’s shoe.

Jayden looked down, wrinkling his nose slightly. He didn't like rats, or mice. "If you're Chester, turn into literally any other animal, please."

Chester squeaked and morphed into a cat, nuzzling against his knee.

Jayden curled up closer to him. "Do you want to shapeshift to a person and talk about... this?" He asked softly.

Chester looked down for a moment before morphing into a human. He sat next to Jayden. ‘Are you mad at me?’

Yes. No. Kind of? Definitely. "I... I don't know." Jayden mumbled.

Chester sighed, fidgeting with his watch. ‘I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said anything.’

Jayden shook his head. "That's not the problem." He muttered. "How long have you felt like... that?"

‘Not long. It got worse when you were gone and I had to go to all those conferences alone. It mostly went away when you came back, though,’ Chester mumbled. ‘I don’t know what happened. It just came back when I put on the dress.’

Jayd nodded, frowning. "I'm glad you told me." He mumbled, looking up at Chester. "I wish you told me sooner."

Chester crossed his legs, looking down at the watch in his lap. ‘Me too. I just thought it would go away.’

Jayden nodded. He paused, looking very upset at a thought that crossed his mind before trying to ignore it. "I get it." He mumbled.

Chester noticed his expression. ‘What’s wrong?’
