i have a massive headache so I'm probably not going to go on here for long but uhhhh I finished They Both Die at the End

I need to stop reading books like this- I knew what was going to happen it was LITERALLY IN THE TITLE but then it all got really hopeful and happy towards the end and the fact that it mentions so many background characters having their lives completely change because of these two boys just being buds is crazy only for it to go HA SCREW YOU REMEMBER THE TITLE?
