Chester begun walking to the dining room for lunch.

Jayden bumped into Chester on the way. "Uh- hi." He stammered, surprising himself.

'Hello,' Chester said. 'Do you know the way to the dining room? It's almost lunch.'

Jayd shook his head. "No, I don't." He admit with a small smile.

'Come,' Chester said, starting to walked again.

Jayden followed, looking at him with a smile.

Chester looked behind him at Jayden. 'What?' he asked, noticing Jayden's not-manic smile.

"Nothing." Jayd said with a shrug.

Chester nodded once and looked back out in front of him.

Jayden looked down at his shoes, wondering how he was supposed to tell Chester he liked him. He wanted to do it at night so that if it got awkward he could just leave and go to bed.

The two got to the dining hall. Chester sat down at the head of the table.

Jayd sat next to him, still thinking about what to say. On one hand, he wanted to do it at night, but on the other hand, wasn't it better sooner rather than later?

Chester leaned back in his chair.

Jayden was hardly paying attention to anything as he fiddled with his fork.

Patton brought the food out. 'Sires, where were you this morning? You missed breakfast,' he said, setting the food on the table.
