Maeve giggled. 'Do you think he likes you back?' she asked.

"I... Don't know." Jayd said, hitting her playfully with the back of his hand. "Stop giggling, you'll get us caught or something."

'Hey!' Maeve laughed. 'Chances are, he likes you back!'

Jayden raised an eyebrow. "He's being very awkward about it then. Although, I suppose I am too."

'You need to tell him!' Maeve said happily.

"Aaand this is why I shouldn't have told you. If he doesn't like me back it'll just be awkward since we're forced to hang out!"

'You're not forced to hang out! Chester has loads of meetings like this with other kings and queens and stuff, but they only see each other at boring meetings!' Maeve said. 'That at when they're complaining about how maze-like the castle is.'

"Your castle is a maze. But why are you so insistent on me telling him?"

'That's... none of your business!'

"Well it is now." Jayden chuckled. "Come on, tell me!"

'Nope!'

"Then I won't tell him." Jayd said with a smirk.

'... Fine then,' Maeve said, crossing her arms. 'He'll never know!'

"Come on, what's the reason?"

Maeve huffed. 'Fine.'
