Chester wrapped his spare arm around Jayden’s waist and kissed him.

Jayden grinned before kissing him back, closing his eyes.

Chester closed his eyes, holding him tightly.

Jayd wrapped his arms around his neck.

Chester deepened the kiss before breaking it, looking down at Jayden with a grin. He heard a firework explode and flinched.

Jayden opened his eyes, grinning. He laughed when Chester flinched.
(gtg, see you in like a week!) -
(Alr, cya then!)
Chester huffed, ruffling Jayden’s hair. ‘Meanie, don’t laugh at me.’ -
"Sorry." Jayd leaned into him. "Do you want to light one?"

Chester shook his head immediately. ‘No way.’

Jayden laughed, knowing that's what his reaction would be. "Come on, I'll make sure you're safe..."

Chester quickly shook his head again. ‘Absolutely not,’ he said.

"Fine. I'm lighting one, though." Jayd kissed him before lighting a match and going to the fireworks.

Chester was tempted to stop him, but he clenched and unclenched his fists and didn’t. He attempted to blow out the sparkler.

Jayden looked over at his boyfriend, noticing he looked uncomfortable. He pulled away from the fireworks before he even lit them and walked back to him. "The sparkler isn't going to go out until it's to here." He pointed to a lumpy spot towards the middle, just above where Chester was holding it. "I can take it if you don't want it anymore."

‘No, it’s okay,’ Chester said quickly, stopping shaking the sparkler. He wasn’t sure what scared him, but the thought of Jayden thinking he was more weak than he already did seemed to scare him… which didn’t help.
