Chester looked up at him. He buried his face in his hands, not responding. He felt bad for ruining Jayden’s fun. Oliver crouched down on Chester’s other side. -
(LMAOOOO)
Jayden offered Chester his hand. "C'mon, lets get you out of here." He said with a soft smile. -
(I MEAN THE WHOLE f---ING CASTLE KNOWS SO-)
Chester sniffled. He looked up at him, then down at his hand and slowly took it. ‘I’m sorry,’ he mumbled. -
Jayd stood up, slowly pulling Chester with him. "For what? You didn't do anything wrong. I'm sorry for getting you so far out of your comfort zone."

Chester looked down, holding onto Jayden’s hand tightly. ‘For ruining your fun. I know how much you wanted to do this.’

Jayden frowned. "Chester, you're more important than some fireworks. I only wanted to do it if you wanted to do it."

Chester glanced back up at him. Oliver rubbed his friend’s shoulder. ‘I’m going to go check on Maeve to make sure she doesn’t set fire to anything. We’ll pack up the fireworks,’ he said, then jogged off.

Jayd nodded in agreement. "Good idea. See you!"

Oliver waved. Chester made himself shrink a few inches to lean his head against Jayden’s shoulder.

Jayden held him tightly. "What do you want to do tonight?"

‘I don’t know,’ Chester mumbled, wrapping his arms around his torso. ‘Can we cuddle?’

Jayd smiled, nodding. "Of course."

Chester buried his face in Jayden’s chest.

Jayden held him close. "Chester?" He asked quietly.

Chester looked up at him.
