Chester morphed into a cat and balled Maeve’s head.
‘Hehe, he is!’ -
Jayden chuckled. "Chester, you're blowing your cover!"

Chester mewled and quickly morphed back into a red panda.

Jayd pat him on the head.

Chester leaned into his touch. Maeve rolled her eyes. ‘Hurry uuuup!’

"We're going!" Jayden took Chester to his room, grabbing the fireworks.

Chester huff-quacked.

Chester set him down gently. "That better, or do you want my attention?"

Chester huffed whacked, nuzzling his leg. He very much wanted attention.

"Fine!" Jayden picked him up, holding him close. "That better?"

Chester nodded and snuggled into his arms happily.

Jayd walked him out into the courtyard on the opposite side of the castle, where they couldn't see the village. He held the sparkler up, and set Chester down. "Shapeshift into a human again so you can hold this."

Chester morphed into a human and took the sparkler. Maeve was following, bouncing on the balls of her feet.

Jayden chuckled, lighting the sparkler. "Maeve, Olliver, you want one?"

Chester shouted in surprise when it started sparking and held it away from him, covering his eyes. ‘Holy s---!’
Maeve laughed. ‘No, I want to light the fireworks!’
