Jayden burst into laughter before shaking his head at Mahina. "Sorry, but I get the honors of lighting the first few fireworks."

Maeve huffed. Chester shook the sparkler but it didn’t go out.

"It's not going to go out for a while." Jayd smiled, kissing the side of his head before going to the balcony wall, lighting some of the fireworks on fire, and watching them explode.

Chester flinched when they exploded, especially when they were so close. ‘Why’s it so loud!’
‘Oh my god, you ARE a scaredy cat!’ -
Jayden smiled, wrapping his arms around Chester in a sneak-from-behind hug, making sure he didn't get burned by the sparkler in the process.

Chester blushed and patted Jayden’s arm, still holding the sparkler away from himself.

Jayd grinned, looking up a his boyfriend. "Scardey cat."

‘Shut up,’ Chester mumbled. Maeve grabbed a firework and lit it. ‘Maeve maybe you shouldn’t-‘

"Too late!" Maeve grinned. The firework went off with a loud bang.

Chester jumped. ‘Good god,’ he muttered.

Jayd laughed, holding Chester close.

Chester smile and pat Jayden’s head.

Jayden chuckled. "I love you." He murmured as he watched the fireworks.

‘Love you too,’ Chester said, turning around in his arms and holding the sparkler away from their bodies.

Jayden grinned.
