Chester huff-quacked, bapping the roll in retaliation. Sure sure sure ofc- I should actually go eat but it’s like 2 hours till dinner so I’ll be fine.

"I'm sorry for saying you're not normal, I'm just worried, ok?" Yeah obviously- eat you fool.

Chester huff-quacked again, looking up at him. Pfft nah I don’t feel like it.

"Well if you don't eat, I'll kick you out of my room for the night." Jayden said, knowing he wouldn't end up actually doing it. Please?

Chester practically ripped the roll out of Jayden’s hand and started devouring it. Oliver whistled. ‘Holy s--- he’s gone feral.’

Jayd chuckled. "Yup, pretty much." He said, looking up at Oliver.

Oliver laughed, watching Chester attack the roll. ‘Damn.’

Jayden pat Chester's head once he finished. "You ok?" He asked, laughing.

Chester nuzzled into his touch and did that cute sneeze thing animals do. He nodded.

Now I'm crying happy tears how dare you let me be sad about my fictional death scene in peace. Jayd held him close. "Would you be mad if I told you to eat more?"

The lil sneeze thing animals do is absolutely adorable and you know it. Chester huff quacked and nodded.

I KNOW where else would the happy tears be from- Jayd sighed. "But you still have a lot on your plate! Please?"

Then don’t complain about the lil sneezes you rat-Chester huff quacked and gave in, resting against Jayden.
