One of Jayden's servants saw the fire, and immediately ran to get some water. Jayden didn't smell the smoke since his window was closed.

Chester stood back and morphed back into a human as Jayden’s servants poured water on the fire. It distinguished and Chester morphed back into a cat as the servants walked away.

Jayd sat up eventually, leaning on his bed frame and his pillow as he was still thinking. He was trying to think of ways to have Chester forgive him.

Chester walked back into the castle as a cat. He got a couple of weird looks and a couple servants tried to shoo him away. He nudged Jayden’s door open with his head.

Jayden heard the door creak and his head snapped up. He saw the cat and recognized it as Chester, and he walked towards in, kneeling down. "Hey, love. Feeling better?" He pet his head.

Chester purred softly and nuzzled against his hand. The spectating servants looked extremely bewildered.

Jayd looked up at some of the servants, chuckling. He looked back down at Chester, picking him up gently. "Is this ok?"

Chester nodded, mewling and snuggling into his arms.

Jayden smiled, looking back up at the servants, shutting the door, and going to his bed.

Chester nuzzled into his chest, purring softly.

Jayd laid down on his back, petting Chester.

Chester curled up on his chest, leaning into his touch.

"I love you." Jayden murmured. "I'm sorry for getting upset that you weren't eating."

Chester pressed his little cat nose against Jayden’s, trying to show he forgave him.

Jayd smiled, booping his nose after.
