Theo sat next to her, brushing her hair out of her face.

Hazel leaned into him.

"I'm sorry." Theo whispered. "For you getting into trouble.

'Not your fault,' Hazel mumbled.

"I don't care. I'm sorry for kissing you in the kitchen this morning, and for getting you in trouble because of that."

Hazel kissed his cheek. 'Still not your fault.'

"It... It kinda is." Theo shrugged.

'Well, I don't care then.'

Theo gave a small, barely audible chuckle. "Jackie might give you half of his sandwich if you come downstairs now."

'I am hungry, Hazel admit.

"Then come on." Theo smiled, offering her his hand.

Hazel smiled and grabbed his hand.

Theo pulled her up gently, walking her out of the room and down the stairs.

Hazel followed next to him.

Jackie ate Theo's sandwich, and didn't touch his. He smiled when he saw Hazel. "Here, I saved you my half." He offered it to her.
