"Go. To your room. Now." Her dad didn't care that it was a punishment suited for a little kid.

Hazel clenched her jaw and stormed upstairs.

Theo tried to follow, but her dad said no, and motioned for him to sit back down at the table.

Hazel collapsed onto her bed, face first onto her pillow.

Theo still didn't touch his sandwich.
"I'll trade." Jackie offered Theo his half eaten sandwich. He heard what happened. "I don't mind mayo." -
Hazel groaned.

Theo shook his head, but gave Jackie the sandwich. "Thanks for the offer." He smiled.

Jackie nodded. 'It's fine,' he said with a smile.

Theo smiled back before turning his attention to the stairs, fidgeting nervously.

Hazel stayed up in her room, punching the hell out of her pillow.

Theo looked at Hazel's dad. "I'm going up to check on her." He stood up.

Hazel's dad didn't object. Hazel threw her pillow at the door.

Theo ran up the stairs and opened the door, almost tripping over the pillow. "Do you want me to sit next to you?" He asked gently.

Hazel was curled up on her bed, facing the wall. 'Yes please.'
