Lilla was about to argue, but Jackie nodded, agreeing with Hazel, so she just ate her food in silence.

Hazel looked down at her sandwich.

Theo knew he wasn't going to eat any more of his. Not after Hazel's dad put an ungodly amount of mayo on it. "I'll get us food before the movie." He offered quietly.

Hazel smiled weakly. 'Alright.'

"I'll throw your food away." Theo offered. He didn't know how her family was about wasting food, but he'd rather be the one taking the blame rather than her.

'Won't we get in trouble?'

"I can grab a knife and scrape the mayo off of them then."

'No, I can go.'

"You sure? I don't mind doing it."

Hazel shook her head.

"Ok." Theo smiled.

Hazel put down her sandwich and stood up.

Theo watched her, smiling.

She walked into the kitchen for the knife. Of course, her dad was in there.
