Hazel-Lee's dad looked up from his computer, noticing Theo, who waved.
"Nice to meet you sir." Theo said, not knowing what else to say. -
Hazel's dad's split into a smile. 'Welcome, welcome!' he said, standing. 'Your accent is very nice. You're from France, aren't you?'
-
Theo nodded. "Yeah, I am." They said with a grin. "Thanks for the compliment."
-
'No problem. There are some snacks in the cupboard if you're hungry. I trust Hazel has shown you to your room?'
'Yep,' Hazel mumbled grumpily, but her father ignored her rudeness. -
Theo nodded as Hazel responded.
"Alright, that's pretty much all I can think of for now, if you have any more questions then ask me or Hazel!" Her dad responded, and Theo nodded again. -
'Well, I'm sorry, but I've got some work to do. I'll see you two later?' he asked.
-
Theo nodded, taking a few steps backwards.
-
'On or off?' Hazel asked, hand over the light switch.
'Off, thanks,' her dad responded. Hazel-Lee turned the light off and led Theo away from the study. -
"So..." Theo said, not knowing what to say so they just looked around the house.
-
'So,' Hazel said, glancing around the house. She was still cold towards Theo, but not so much that she was constantly rude.
-
"Um... Nice house." He said, knowing he already said that before entering the house.
-
'Thanks,' she said. She walked forward, then got an idea. 'Hey, did you bring a wetsuit?'
-
"I might have." Theo said. "Lemme go check."
-
Hazel waited for him downstairs.
-
Theo looked through his clothes and sure enough there was a wetsuit.
"I got one!" He called out, grabbing it and running back downstairs.
