Hazel didn't even react, she just exhaled sharply through her nose.

"Those guys are friends, right?" Theo asked quietly once the kids left. "Like you said earlier?"

'Of course!' she said quickly, putting on a smile.

"Alright." Theo said, smiling back. "Just checking."

Hazel nodded before looking back at the ground, the smile wiping off her face.

"You alright?" He asked softly, trying to change his position so he could look Hazel in the eye.

'Of course! Why wouldn't I be?'

"You're staring at the ground with a frown on your face." Theo stated plainly. "That doesn't exactly scream happy to me."

'Well, I'm fine.'

"Alright, if you're sure." Theo said reluctantly, not quite believing Hazel.

Hazel nodded, still not looking at him.

"If that's the truth then why won't you look me in the eyes when you say it?" Theo pressed, raising an eyebrow.

'Do I have to?'

"If you want to prove you're telling the truth."

Hazel looked up at him, though stared at his nose instead of looking him in the eye. 'I'm fine.'
