'Here, copy off my notes,' Hazel said, sliding her notebook over the desk. 'Or just read them. Either one works.'

"Thanks!" Theo said, copying Hazel's notes down in his own words.

Hazel looked over his shoulder as he wrote.

"Watcha looking at?" Theo asked. "There's nothing life changing I'm writing down."

'I got nothing better to do.'

"You could study." Theo said, chuckling.

'Nah, too boring.'

"Fair enough, though I'm not sure watching me write is any more exciting."

'Well...' she searched her mind for something for something interesting to talk about. 'Do you have a cruuush?' she said in a singsong voice.

"No!" Theo said way too fast.

Hazel smirked. 'I don't believe you.'

"Ugh, of course you don't!" Theo complained, avoiding her gaze even though he was done with taking notes by now.

'Tell me who she is!!'

"No!" Theo said quickly, knowing he'd never hear the end of it if Hazel found out.

Hazel rolled her eyes. 'Fine, but this isn't the last you'll hear of it,' she said as the teacher walked inside.
