"N-no I'm not!" Theo stuttered, which only embarrassed him even more. They never stuttered, so why was he now, of all times?

'Did you see your cruuush?' she teased, putting emphasis on "crush". 'Those French girls are very pretty.'

"No, not one of them." Theo laughed, though he didn't admit if he saw his crush or not.

Hazel rolled her eyes. 'C'mon, we've got science next.'

"Alright. Is the class any fun?"

'Yeah. Sometimes we do experiments.'

"Oooo, fun!" Theo said, now excited for the class.

'Not very often, though. Often we're just doing worksheets and the such...'

"Still, it sounds cool." Theo said. They both got to the class, and Theo sat in the back corner.

Hazel sat next to him, pulling out her textbook.

Theo pulled out his as well, staring at the page they were supposed to be on blankly.

'I don't think you have to do the work,' Hazel said. 'You've missed, like, 3 months of studying.'

"Which is why I have to try and catch up!" Theo protested. "I still have to keep my grades up."

"Exactly." Theo said, smiling as he skimmed through the pages.
