Theo glared at the boy, which only made his friends laugh harder. "Jerk." He mumbled.
-
'Don't mind him,' Hazel told Theo.
(Having lunch, brb) -
(Alr!)
"I'm not the one he's being a jerk to." Was Theo's only response as they kept walking. -
Hazel shrugged and followed him.
-
Theo walked over to the front hall, where it seemed like every kid in the universe was. How could a school be so loud?
-
Hazel noticed his expression. 'You good?'
-
"Yeah." Theo said quietly. "It's just... Really loud."
-
Hazel glanced around. 'I guess,' she said. 'C'mon, I've got a book I need to return to the library.'
-
"Alright." Theo said, grateful to escape the noise.
-
Hazel lead him to the school library. One the girls called out to her, 'Nerrrd!' when they got there. Hazel poked her tongue out at the girl and walked inside.
-
Theo made a mental note of how many people were making fun of Hazel within the first minute of school. At least 5 if he counted the group of kids snickering at the boy calling her nuts. She said before that she wasn't bullied a lot, but Theo wasn't believing it anymore.
-
Hazel pulled out a book from her bag. It was about the medieval times, as that was her next exam in Humanities.
'Thanks, Hazel,' the librarian said, taking the book. Hazel flashed a smile before walking out. -
Theo waited in the quiet, thankful that it was quiet- at least, more quiet than the hallway. There still was quite a bit of muffled chatter from the halls.
-
'Do you wanna wait here before class?' Hazel asked him, noticing how much he seemed to hate loudness.
-
Theo shrugged. "Whatever you want." He said quietly.
