Hazel moved her arms off him to wipe her eyes. She wrapped her arms back around his torso, leaning into his hand. She gave him a sad smile, locking eyes with him.

Theo gave a sad smile back. "May I kiss you?" He asked, voice barely above a whisper. "Or is it a really bad time?"

'Please kiss me,' Hazel mumbled. 'Before I start crying again.'

She didn't have to tell him twice. "Oh, thank god." Theo murmured, kissing her and closing his eyes.

Hazel smiled against his lips, then kissed him back. She closed her eyes.

Theo's arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer.

Hazel let him, moving her arms around his neck.

Theo deepened the kiss for a moment before pulling away and opening his eyes slowly.

Hazel opened her eyes after a moment, tears running down her cheeks. 'I love you.'

Theo's heart broke when he saw the tears. He brushed them off her face. "I love you too."

Hazel leaned into his touch, sniffling. She leaned forward and rested her forehead on his chest.

"Hey, it's ok. I'll text you so much you'll wish my plane crashed."

'I would never wish for that,' Hazel mumbled, closing her eyes.

Theo chuckled sadly. "I know."

Hazel gave a sad smile. ‘When do we have to go?’
