Florence whimpered "first the assistant researcher fills it with a strange substance... then you're dumped in... it burns your skin.... it makes some disappear in screams." Florence said as he dug his claws far into the wall.

Collins looked down into the pit in horror. 'Why?!'

"don't remember." Florence said closing his eyes tight. He hugged closer to the wall mimicking loud speaker feedback

Collins glanced up at Florence. 'You can come down. It doesn't have any strange liquids inside it.'

Florence just shook his head mimicking the yowling of a cat. He opened the heart and listened to the music waiting for it to calm him down.

Collins looked back down into the vat. 'This is definitely cruelty,' she mumbled, then waited patiently for Florence to come down.

Florence hummer along the the melody for a a bit before opening his eyes and slowly making his way down.

Collins watched him climb down. 'Are you OK?'

"I.. am... recovering." Florence said as he looked at the pit.

'Better than not,' Collines mumbled, looking down into the pit.

Florence scrambled out of the room no longer wanting to look at the vat. He just listened to the heart, trying to calm down.

Collins followed him outside. The vat also left her unnerved.

Florence sat down to listen to the heart, wrapping his wings over his arms.

Collins watched him for a moment, before noticing her torch was off. She flicked the switch and it should've turned on, but it didn't. 'Drat!'

"uh oh." Florence said. He shuffled his arms uncomfortably.
