"that was the exact words of the assistant researcher. He was the main one when the creator got old." Florence said. He closed the heart, shutting off the quaint melody
-
'That's definitely cruel.'
-
"It was just words. How is it cruel?" Florence asked as he cocked his head. He was genuinely curious. He picked up vials on the table and started to smell them
-
'It's mean! You can't just say that to someone!' Collins exclaimed, wondering why he saw nothing wrong with it.
-
Florence cocked his head. "The creator once told him to stop talking like that, but the assistant researcher said there was nothing wrong with it." Florence said
-
'There's a lot that's wrong with it, trust me.'
-
Florence shrugged and continued exploring the room, clutching the heart close to his chest
-
Collins walked towards another strange-looking machine. 'What's this?' she asked, crouching down to get a better look at it.
-
"that's the shackles." Florence said. He crawled over and poked it with his clawed hand. The mechanism quickly snapped shut
-
'To catch things?' Collins asked.
-
"something like that." Florence said scratching at the rust on the shackles.
-
'What else would it be used for?' Collins asked, looking at the machine curiously.
-
"to keep the rowdier experiments in place." Florence said. He looked through the windows of observation rooms fitted also with shackles
-
Collins nodded. 'Makes sense,' she mused, looking at a bigger machine next to it. 'And that?' She motioned to the bigger machine.
-
"that's the scavenger's daughter. It is supposed to make us experiments stay still." Florence said looking at it. The creator once called it inhumane.
