"YAAAAAY!" Florence said, jumping into the air and slightly falling over. He got up and laughed before mimicking the ferrets

Collins giggled and looked around. ‘Um, let’s go this way,’ she said, beginning to walk through the field.

"nkay." Florence said, nodding his head. He followed Collins he bounced between his sets of hands.

Collins chuckled, looking around. She found a dirt path and decided to follow it. She’d been exploring many times when she was out alone, and recognised this way.

Florence mimicked a few birds on the walk. He particularly liked mimicking flamingos

Collins smiled. The two continued on for a while until they got back to the town. ‘Nobody really hangs out on this side. Probably because of the gangs,’ she said, looking around. It was around late afternoon. ‘But we don’t need to worry about that.’

"what's so scary about a group of friends?" Florence asked before a gunshot went off in the distance. He covered his ears from the sound and mimicked it back.

Collins winced. ‘Er, there’s a big difference between a group of friends and a gang,’ she said, looking around. She kept walking down the sidewalk.

"what's the difference? The creator's funny named word book said gang was a group of friends." Florence said

‘Gangs tend to be a bit more, um, dangerous,’ Collins said. ‘They also tend to carry guns and other weapons. They’re worse than pickpocketers.’

"oh, that's not good. I don't like guns." Florence said. He mimicked the gunshot again.

‘Me neither,’ Collins said. The streets were pretty empty.

Florence flapped his wings a bit and noted the rundown cars that he was very tempted to jump on.

The two got to a servo. Collins looked around. ‘Do you want to come in with me? I know the guy who works here.’

"am I really allowed to go inside?" Florence asked. He shook his wings a bit.
