‘Alright,’ Collins said, looking back in the freezer.

Florence pulled on the edges of his wings until his feathers came out. He dropped the handfuls of feathers and grabbed onto his wings again.

Collins settled for ice cream sandwiches and looked at Florence. ‘Hey, you okay?’ she asked, frowning. ‘Don’t do that, you’re hurting yourself.’

"it's hard to keep my wings still when I'm happy." Florence said. He bounced his feet.

Levi looked over. ‘Sorry, did you say wings?’
‘No,’ Collins said quickly, -
Florence started doing a little jumpy dance.

Levi’s brows furrowed slightly but he looked back down at his computer and typed something in; his computer was off. Collins grabbed the ice cream sandwiches and walked over to the counter. ‘Just these, please,’ she said, setting the boxes down and rummaging through her satchel.

Florence looked at the computer and shifted his feet. He backed a little away. The sound of clacking keys made him uneasy. He wanted to repeat a corresponding sound. That was part of the tests sometimes.

Collins glanced at Florence worriedly, before turning her attention back to Loui, who was scanning their items. It made a beeping sound.

Florence itched gently at his wings to relieve the urge to move them. He closed his eyes and hummed his lullaby normally.

‘15 dollars,’ Loui said. Collins wrinkled her nose and pulled out a couple notes.
‘There you go. Thanks Loui!’ Collins said with a smile, grabbing the boxes and walking to the door, beckoning for Florence to follow. -
Florence relaxed his wings and skipped behind Collins.

Collins shut the door on their way out. ‘You okay?’

Florence let go of his wings and stretched them to his full wingspan. "It wasn't too bad." Florence said, mimicking the clacking of the keys
