Florence gasped "Oh no, you got lost?" Florence said. He was very concerned.

'No, not lost. I just didn't come home for a day or two. After I tried to jump off a bridge. It didn't work.'

YOU JUMPED OFF A BRIDGE!!? Are you okay? I've been flying you around all day, that must've been so difficult for you." Florence said frantically.

Collins gave a small smile. 'I'm fine. Didn't do much damage, but it got me a therapist. And it was fine, really.'

"Did you jump off because you wanted to go to the normal school?" Florence asked sincerely

'No,' Collins said. She focused on the sky, picking at the grass.

Florence started picking more flowers. A thistle and some henbits. He added grape hyacinths.

Collins tilted her head so she could look at him. After a moment she looked back up at the sky, looking at the clouds. It was a nice day.

"it's from an old legend. It used to be that humans believed there was a giant serpent under the sea, it swallowed its own tail to comfort it while it slept. If it ever woke up the world was believed to end soon after." Jack said

Florence set the small ring of flowers on Collins' lap. He mimicked a buzzing from a fan. -

Collins propped herself up on her arms and looked at the flower ring. She smiled and looked at Florence. ‘Thanks.’ -
"no problem. I didn't know if you liked purple or not. You deserve all the nice things." Florence said. He shifted his wings so they laid out behind him kind of flat.

Collins’ smile disappeared. She looked down at the flower ring in her lap and held it up to the sun. She beamed as she looked back at Florence. ‘So do you.’

"did I say something wrong? Or is it the purple?" Florence asked. He noticed when Collins stopped smiling. He liked looking at other people smile.
