'Dang,' Callum sighed.

“Yeah…” Eli said sadly, then got an idea. “Do you maybe want to… sleep over at my place? So you’re not so alone?”

'Could I? I do want to.'

Eli nodded, smiling again. “Of course!”

'Alright,' Callum said, smiling. He reached for Eli's hand, and in a second they were back at their house.

Eli’s house seemed so boring compared to the Land of the Freaks. They went in their house, waving at their mom.

'Where've you been?' Eli's mother asked.

“Just at Callums house.” Eli said, motioning to Callum. “Callum, this is my mom, mom, this is Callum.”

'Hello,' Callum said.

Eli’s mom smiled. “Pleasure to meet you.” She said before looking back at Eli. “Is he planning on staying over tonight?”
Eli nodded. -
Their mother smiled. 'There's a sleeping back in the storage room for him to borrow.'
'Thanks!' Callum said. -
“No problem.” Eli’s mom said before walking back to her office.
“Let’s go grab it!” Eli said happily, walking to the storage room, trying to find the sleeping bag. -
Callum followed him. 'It's dusty in here,' he said, then on cue, sneezed.

Eli nodded chuckling slightly. “Yeah, we don’t grab stuff from here often.” They said. “Here it is!” They grabbed the sleeping bag.

'Makes sense,' Callum said, rubbing his nose.
