Eli shrugged. “It’s fine, he was a jerk anyways.” He said quietly. “Now you gotta tell me what happened to your parents.”

'Well, they were... taken away...'

“Taken?!” Eli asked. “How? Why did you say its your fault?”

'By the Darkness,' Callum said quietly. 'That I created.'

“The darkness?” Eli asked gently. “How’d you make it? Why’d you make it?”

'I... I'd rather not talk about it.'

Eli shrugged. “Fair enough.” They said quietly.

“What do you wanna do?” Eli asked, laying down on the rug.

'Not sure.'

“Hmmmm…. Ralph, do you have any ideas?”

'How late is it?' Ralph asked. 'Eli might need to go back.'

Eli looked at their clock: 6:00PM.
“You’re right, I ought to go.” They said sadly.
