Callum opened the door to his large, moon-shaped house. 'Come in!'

“So cool!” Eli whispered, looking around the place. “It’s bigger on the inside too!”

'Yeah,' Callum said. It was just like a regular house, except bigger and with lots of cats about.

Eli picked up one of the tabby cats, petting it behind the ears. “Such a pretty cat.” They cooed in a little baby voice. “What’s your name?”

'Cooper,' the cat said. His voice was deep, and he looked quite angry to be picked up. 'Don't call you "pretty", ya weirdo.' The tabby cat jumped from their arms and trotted away.

Eli’s eyebrows shot up. “I think you forgot to mention the cats could talk.” They laughed, looking at Callum. “Pretty important thing to mention.”

'Sorry,' Callum laughed. 'Cooper's just a grump. Try Ralph or Sunnie.'

“Ralph?” Eli asked cautiously, and a beautiful white cat walked up.

'Hello,' Ralph said happily.

“Hi, you’re not gonna walk away if I say you’re beautiful, right?” Eli asked kneeling down and extending their arm to pet Ralph shyly.

'No,' the cat purred, and nuzzledhis head against Eli's hand.

“Well you’re beautiful.” Eli said, desperately trying not to slip up and say something in a silly baby voice as he pet Ralph. “Your fur is so soft!” -
'Thank you!' Ralph said. Callum chuckled and picked up Lockie, a white cat with large black spots.
