'Right,' Callum said, nodding. 'Are your parents weird or something?'

Eli shrugged. “Not as weird as their child.” They joked, but barely smiled.

'I guess,' Callum said with a smile. 'Could I come over to your house? If it's not a bother.'

Eli nodded, smiling. “Yeah, that’d be great actually!”

Callum grinned. 'Cool!'

Eli nodded, walking over to the bus that rode to his house, waiting for Callum to follow.

Callum hurried after him.

Eli struggled to find somewhere to sit, settling on an empty bench in the middle, sitting on the window.

Callum sat next to him and leaned back. 'Gosh, it's crowded in here.'

Eli nodded. “Yeah, a lot of kids live in my neighborhood.”

'Makes sense,' Callum said, glancing around.

Eli nodded. “So… what do you wanna do once we get to my house?”

'What is there to do?'

“Finish your story, think about our psychotic thoughts, talk about how much of freaks we are, okay Roblox, watch a movie…”
