'Of course,' Eli's mother said, finally pulling away. 'Help yourself, though some of the warm foods won't be so warm...'

"That's what the microwaves for." Eli said with a laugh, grabbing a piece of banana bread.

Eli's mum ruffled their hair and continued washing dishes.
(Afk, I may be back and I may not. Depends how fast I can get ready for school cos I need to get their early today) -

Eli fixed their hair again, smiling. -
Callum chuckled and continued eating the piece of pie he'd grabbed.

Eli took a bite out of their banana bread. "This is really good mom." They said with a smile.

'Thank you,' Eli's mother said with a smile.

"You're welcome." Eli said with a grin, before looking at Callum.

Callum glanced up. 'What?'

"Nothing." Eli said with a smile.

Callum smiled and continued eating.

Eli pulled up a chair and sat down. -
Callum pulled over a chair and sat down next to them.

Eli smiled, eating more of their banana bread. Their mom went to a different room for a few minutes. "Do you need to go back to the Land of the Freaks anytime soon?" Eli asked quietly so their mom couldn't hear from the other room. "And help your parents?"

'Maybe in about half an hour,' Callum shrugged. 'I can leave you here with your mum for a bit if you want some time to catch up with her.'
