She gave a confused glance towards the stairs, then turned back to Miles. "Welcome to my house!" She said. "Come on. Mom's letting us use the living room to watch a movie."

'Alright,' Miles said, following her inside. 'I brought snacks, too.'

"ooh, snacks!" Amber laughed. "so, what movie do you wanna watch?" she asked, gesturing towards the movie cabinet beside the TV.

'I don't mind,' Miles shrugged. 'What do you want to watch?'

Amber sighes. "Hm. How about The Fault in our Stars?"

'Sure,' Miles said, sitting down on the sofa. He set his backpack on the ground.

she put the disc in, then sat beside Miles on the couch. "It's a really good movie, there's a book too, it's about cancer patients, but not that kind of cancer book. It's about two cancer patients fallong in love, and it is so good."

'I'll have to read it sometime,' Miles said, making a mental note to find it in the library or bookstore.

after the movie, an awkward silence filled the room.
"uhh....." Amber started, but couldn't think of anything to say. -
Miles noticed Amber was acting strange. 'Hey, are you OK? You don't seem yourself.'

"uhm... Yea. I think so." She thought back to the night before. Why couldn't she get it out of her head? They had just met. There was no way she actually liked him already.

Miles nodded slowly. 'Alright, if you're sure.'

Amber though for a moment. "So... Hypothetically, two people meet, and a few days later, one of them thinks they might like the other. Do you think they possibly could actually like that person, or is it just some weird feelings? Completely hypothetical." She said, scratching the back of her neck as a faint blush crept up her cheeks.

Miles frowned. 'Well, it depends on the person,' he said after some thought. 'And how long they've known each other for. Romantic feelings can develop after knowing someone for just a week for some people, I think. Plus, hormones don't really help in that matter.'
